You should periodically bexamine your ferrets teeth and make sure food is not collecting to cause decay. A toothpick can be used to remove deposits. And a cotton swab with ferret toothpaste used to brush if necessary. Never use toothpaste made for humans. Those contain atrificial sweeteners and often floride. Both can be toxic to a ferret, causing liver or kidney damage. Never allow your ferret to have anything with artificial sweetener, this includes gum, candies and many other things.

Good to know how to clean their teeth , was starting to wonder about that since I just did their nails.
