Post subject: Easter Exchange... my story

I went shopping yesterday for props for my easter pictures to put in my cards and I was so excited. I got home, went through all the stuff I picked up and was all set. I figured I would get some great pics of the ferts, but when I got it set up and got two ferts out with camera I discovered my batteries were dead. 
Not thinking I left the ferrets with all these great new "toys" while I tried to change the batteries in my camera. I came back to my little photo station to discover that one ferret had dug out most of the little easter basket... and was covered in stuffing. While the other had run off with ALL the toys! 
Funny thing is it gets worse... So I still think I can salvage this and go to the "hidey hole" lol and dig out the toys so I can get my pic. While my boy proceeds to use the new basket as a new litter box! 
I gave up!
So I am going back to the store to try to get new props... and this time I am checking batteries ahead of time! I am not going to be defeated by these little ferts. Though to all those who are on my Easter card exchange list, if their cards end up with ferrets running out or no cute little baskets in them I hope they understand why. I live with monsters!  |

It sounds like your little weasels had a great time "helping" you set up the props!  Ferrets are always very willing to "help" their humans whenever possible. Our gang even likes to come right up to the camera to show us how to use it correctly. 
We hope to hear even more experiences and funny stories from others participating in the Card Exchanges! |

That's cute, sounds like they want to help mommy put things together.  Well look at it this way you don't have to buy them something new for a little while.lol |
