| Pretty much Ferret Nation cages seem to be the favorites with added covering on the wire mesh floors. |

| I couldn't even tell you what brand of cage my guys have, but all the wire mesh floors are covered with handmade quilts. They don't use it much, though, as they have free run of one floor of our house and prefer to sleep out. |

We have one of the large Superpet cages, similar to this one (http://www.ferretstore.com/suppetmulfer.html#), that comes with a few tunnels instead of ramps. It's a great size cage for the price. We've had it for years now and it has held up pretty well.
One problem with it, though, is arranging the levels and tubes in a way that's actually usable by the ferrets. My kids couldn't even get around their cage with it setup the way it's normally setup in displays. Once we figured out a layout for the levels and ramps that worked for them and was safe, it was just fine.
The only other thing you need to be careful of with this cage are the clamps that hold the cage together. They CAN wear out if you take them on and off regularly, so make sure to watch out for worn out clamps.
Our crew also has free roam in a room, so the only time they spend in their cage is during room cleanup, or when they choose to go in on their own. |
